Frequently asked questions
What counts as a business day?
A business day is any weekday selected in the working-week controls. The default is Monday through Friday. Public holidays are not removed automatically because holiday calendars vary by country, region, and organization.
Should I include the end date when counting business days?
Include the end date when both boundary dates should count if they are working days. Turn it off when the end date is an exclusive deadline. Check the wording of your contract or policy because counting rules differ.
Does the calculator exclude national holidays?
The calculator accurately counts Monday-to-Friday weekdays. Since public holidays vary by region and country, you can subtract specific regional holiday counts manually.
Can I choose whether to include the start or end date?
Yes. You can toggle whether the starting and ending dates are included in the total business day calculation.
