This policy describes the public UsefulGo website. Separate applications on subdomains may have their own account features and privacy policies. Contact details for this website appear below.

Files and information entered into tools

Browser-based document, image, and text tools use the files or text you select to produce a result on your device. UsefulGo does not provide an account, cloud file library, or saved processing history for these public tools. Keep downloaded results yourself; only explicitly saved drafts and templates in the tools described below are retained in browser storage.

The QR generator is an exception to local processing, as described below. Avoid entering sensitive information into that feature.

External QR generation service

The current QR generator requests an image from api.qrserver.com. The content to encode is included in the request URL. For a Wi-Fi QR code, this includes the network name and password. Requests are made when the preview loads or updates and when you download the image.

This means the QR service receives that content as well as network information such as your IP address. Its own policies govern its handling of the request. Do not use this feature for secrets or confidential information.

Google Analytics and cookies

UsefulGo currently includes Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits and page usage. Google Analytics can use cookies and process browser, device, page, and interaction information. Browser settings and blocking tools can affect whether it runs.

Tool input and document contents should not be included in page addresses. Do not place private information in a URL you share with us. You can manage cookies through your browser; blocking them may affect some website features.

Browser storage, camera, and microphone

Selected tools remember preferences, such as output format, compression quality, display settings, or unit choices, in local storage on this browser. Turn off Remember settings to delete the saved preferences for that tool. This does not save the source files or typed content.

Teleprompter scripts, Markdown drafts, and watermark templates (including an optional logo) are saved in browser storage only when you press Save. Each tool keeps one saved copy, up to 2 MB. Saving again replaces it. Restore loads that copy into the tool, and Delete saved removes it without clearing your current work. These copies are not sent to UsefulGo servers or synced between devices. Avoid saving private content on shared devices.

Saved content remains until you delete it or the browser clears site data. Browser storage can be unavailable or cleared, including after a private browsing session. Keep your own downloaded copy of important work. Some games also save scores or progress on your device.

Camera and microphone tools request browser permission when needed. You can deny or revoke access in browser settings. Downloaded files remain on your device until you remove them.

Email and technical requests

When you email us, your email provider and the receiving mailbox handle your address, message, and any attachments. These messages are separate from tool processing and may remain in mailbox storage. Do not email confidential tool input.

Loading a website or an external resource exposes technical request information, including an IP address, to the service handling the request. Website hosting and third-party services may maintain operational logs; browser processing does not make website visits anonymous.

Questions and privacy requests

Contact us to ask about information connected with an email you sent or to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Identify the correspondence concerned without sending additional sensitive documents. Rights and available remedies depend on the law that applies to you; you may also contact your local data protection authority.
